1 Corinthians 9:24 ”Do you not know that the runners in a stadium all race, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may win.”

1] Winners think the right kinds of thoughts.

Winners think thoughts that are positive, correct, big, and pure. Every action begins as a thought, so make sure your thoughts are taking you in the right direction.

2] Winners say the right kinds of words.

Winners know that the words they speak have tremendous power. Words can heal or hurt, build up or tear down. Winners use words that heal and build up.

3] Winners set specific goals.

Write down your goals and plan to achieve them, and work on your plans every single day.

4] Winners take responsibility for their actions.

Winners don’t whine about what they can’t control. They don’t look for someone or something to blame for their lack of success in life. Instead, they take responsibility for who they are and strive to do the best they can with the hand they’ve been dealt.

5] Winners choose the right kinds of friends.

The people with who you surround yourself can help you succeed, or they can cause you to fail.

Hang around people who are able to bring out the best in you, who share your belief in God, and who are wise, loyal, and encouraging at all times.

6] Winners turn failures into strengths.

Winners understand that failure is an inevitable part of life and they do everything they can to learn and grow from their mistakes.

7] Winners go the extra mile.

Winners do more than is expected of them. They work harder on the job. They try harder in their relationships. They spend more time trying to develop their gifts and talents. They go the extra mile.

8] Winners never give up.

Barbara Bush said of her son George W., ”Whether you like him or not, he’s tenacious.”

No matter what obstacles seem to be in their way, winners keep puttng one foot in front of the other, heading directly toward their goal.

9] Winners remember that character counts.

Winners are constantly working on their character.

10] Winners live by faith.

Accepting Christ as your Savior isn’t where the adventure ends. That is just the beginning of the most amazing, incredible exciting life anyone could ever experience.

”Run in such a way that you may win.”

Remember, we are on the winning team,
